Warranties

All merchandise sold by Integrity Toner is guaranteed to work to the customer’s satisfaction. While Integrity Toner cannot be certain that each and every item it sells will arrive in perfect condition or perform perfectly, Integrity Toner can and will stand behind its policy to make sure every customer is satisfied with the product they ordered. To ensure the customer’s satisfaction we have provided the following guarantees:

Replacements

  1. All products that arrive damaged, opened, spilled or are otherwise deemed unusable by the customer will be replaced.
  2. All products that do not work or stop working within a reasonable amount of time (see restriction # 2) due to an inherent manufacturing failure not associated to the customer’s handling of the product will be replaced.

All replaced cartridges are shipped the same day at no extra charge.

Restrictions

  1. If the product in question has been purchased more than one year prior to the complaint it will not be replaced or refunded.
  2. If the product in question is returned to us and is less than 50% filled with ink or toner it will not be replaced or refunded.
  3. If the product in question is not returned to us in the original box (not the shipping box but the original product box) Integrity Toner will not replace or refund the product.
  4. If the product is not from Integrity Toner it will not be replaced or refunded. All products from Integrity Toner are marked with unique identifiable features.
  5. If the customer has ordered an incorrect product, it must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase and it must be unopened and unused.
  6. It the product to be returned is an OEM product, it must be returned within 60 days from the date of purchase. Any OEM products that are defective or need to be replaced after 60 days from the date of purchase must be handled with the manufacturer directly.
  7. If the product is damaged due to the customer’s handling, storage or misuse of the product, it will not be replaced or refunded.

In the event your complaint falls under the restrictions above, Integrity Toner will not replace or refund your product. Special considerations will be taken into account, as each case is unique. Your Machine’s Warranty

The use of the products you purchase from Integrity Toner will not void your printer’s warranty. However, in the event you require a technician to look at your machine because it is not working correctly, please call Integrity Toner. A quick word on your machine’s warranty

While all major manufacturer’s have a vested interest that the customer buy their OEM ink and toner products they are also very keen on keeping you, the customer, from using compatible cartridges.

Why? The manufacturer makes the majority of its revenues through the sale of cartridges, not the sale of machines. The less the customer uses compatible cartridges and the more the customer uses their OEM brand cartridges the more money the manufacturer makes.

How does the manufacturer keep you, the customer from using compatible products? Well, by law they can’t. But they can word their machine warranties in such language that confuses the customer. How do they do this? Simply put, most manufacturer warranties imply the use of a compatible cartridge may damage your machine and if this is found to be the case then the warranty will be voided.

Keep in mind, the manufacturer cannot tell you, the customer, not to use a compatible product. They cannot do this because it would infringe on anti-trust laws, which are the consumer’s protection from monopolies. It is illegal for the manufacturer to void your machine’s warranty because you chose to use an ink or toner cartridge that was not their brand. This would be similar to an automobile manufacturer telling its customer which brand gasoline to buy or else it would void the car’s warranty. It doesn’t and it can’t.

The language in most warranties implies that IF it is determined by the manufacturer (or, one of their technicians, who, keep in mind, works for the manufacturer) that the compatible product in the machine is the SOLE cause for the machine’s damage, then, and ONLY then, will they void the warranty.

This makes a clear case that the warranty can only be voided by the use of compatible products IF it is found that the compatible product caused the machine’s damage.

The main issue now becomes: how does the technician determine if the compatible product actually caused your printer any damage? Unfortunately for the customer, the technician simply has to say so and the customer (who typically has no technical knowledge) has to accept the technician’s word for it. NOT ANYMORE.

If your machine runs into any problem due to any circumstance we urge you to call Integrity Toner right away. Most of the times we can help fix the problem right over the phone.

If the compatible product you purchased from Integrity Toner is not working properly we can usually identify the problem and suggest a solution. Most importantly, we can analyze the situation and inform you whether the problem with your machine stems in any manner from the compatible product you are using.

NOTE: The number one issue with all compatible toner cartridges is that they may, through normal use, leak some toner. However, because most machines house the motor and other parts of critical machinery shielded from the place where the toner cartridge is situated, no amount of toner that leaks from the toner cartridge will cause damage to your machine. The toner that spills into the toner compartment of your machine simply makes a small mess but it does not cause damage to your machine.

Leaking Toner

If you discover that the Integrity Toner compatible product in your machine is leaking toner do the following:

  1. Remove the toner cartridge
  2. Place the toner cartridge back in the original box
  3. Turn off the machine
  4. Unplug the machine
  5. Take a damp paper towel and clean the toner spill
  6. Allow the machine 10 to 15 minutes to dry
  7. Put in a replacement cartridge
  8. Plug in the machine and turn it on
  9. You are now ready to continue printing

Other Considerations

If we are able to determine over the telephone that the problem with your printer is not associated with a leaking toner cartridge there may still be other solutions we can suggest.

Typically, many of the problems encountered with imaging supplies can be attributed to the following: drum problems, chip errors, print head clogs, doctor blade issues, and several others. In the case we determine that your problem is attributable to one of these issues we will replace the product in question right away (see Returns & Replacements).

If in the final analysis we cannot figure out what the problem is, or if we determine that the problem with your printer is mechanical or electrical in nature (and has nothing to do with the imaging product) we may still be able to offer you solutions to fix the problem.

Moreover, we will open a specific case number regarding your problem and keep notes. This way we will have all information regarding your problem on hand.

In the event you have to call a technician, please contact us first. The more information you provide us with the more we can be of assistance to you.

If the technician claims that our compatible product has caused your machine to malfunction please ask in writing what exactly it is that the compatible cartridge did in terms of damage to your machine. Explain that you will forward this information to Integrity Toner. We will examine the cause as put forward by the technician and contact them directly if we find any incongruities with their statement and/or analysis.

At Integrity Toner we feel that our customer requires not only the best service but that they also be protected and shielded from abuse. Integrity Toner believes the customer has a right to choose whatever brand or type of imaging product they want and if that choice is manipulated, coerced or infringed upon in any way it is unfair and constitutes fraud.
